kind of strange, it almost looked like the moon going
down... but it’s really the sun.

October Sunset at Holiday Point
Back in October I took one of my half a dozen annual
trips to North Hero, Vermont... time
to close down our family cottage for the season. The
weather was a bit on the chilly side, but
perfectly clear and beautiful. This is a painting at
sunset from out on the point. It was a totally
awesome site! Looking east across the lake, the green
mountains were lit up with autumn
colors. Looking towards the west, it was almost
blinding. The light on lake
Champlain in the fall is truly spectacular!!!
