Spring Point Light & Breakwater
It’s yet another rainy day here southern Maine... So
I decided to make it easy on
myself and just to go through my iPhoto pics to find
a nice picture to do a painting of.
I found this picture of Spring Point Light with the
breakwater that I had taken awhile
back when Avery and I went out for fun visit to the
lighthouse. If you can’t tell....
Spring Point is one of my favorite subjects to paint.
I love it, it’s a GREAT lighthouse!!

Last Monday Avery and I went out to Spring Point
Light and on the walk out to the end of the
break water I got some nice pictures of the light
house... I decided to do another Spring Point
painting just because it’s such a beautiful spot....

Well, it’s been a few weeks since I’ve had a chance
to do a painting.. My wife Kimmie
went on vacation to Florida and the Bahamas with a
her cousin and a girlfriend for a week,
which left Avery and I here in Maine to hold down the
fort. With Kimmie being
gone and me being on full time Avery duty, needless
to say I was too worn out to get any
painting done.. But Kimmie’s back now, so I’m able to
get some art done again. Here’s a
view from out on the break water at Spring Point
Light. Avery and I went out there this past
Monday and it was a beautiful day, a bit chilly
however with the breeze off the ocean,
but still lots of fun!
