Cloudy Day From The Point
This painting is also from my trip to Vermont last
October. I took the dogs out for
an afternoon walk out to the point.... It was a
really cloudy and dark day, but there were
some holes in the clouds that were letting patches of
light shine through onto
lake and the surrounding landscape. Very cool!

October Sunset at Holiday Point
Back in October I took one of my half a dozen annual
trips to North Hero, Vermont... time
to close down our family cottage for the season. The
weather was a bit on the chilly side, but
perfectly clear and beautiful. This is a painting at
sunset from out on the point. It was a totally
awesome site! Looking east across the lake, the green
mountains were lit up with autumn
colors. Looking towards the west, it was almost
blinding. The light on lake
Champlain in the fall is truly spectacular!!!

This was an absolute perfect fall evening! I was
leaving my sisters house
heading back home after picking up my daughter,
Avery... And once we got down to the
Eastern Prom, there it was! So I snapped a few pics
with my phone in hopes of

Autumn Maple
Well, now that Summer has officially come to an end,
hopefully it will free some time up to allow me to
get
back to painting. I’ve been really busy this Summer
painting the exterior of my house, which is
why I haven’t done a whole lot of art. And because of
all the rain we had yesterday I wasn’t able to finish
up the house... So I figured I better get my butt in
gear and do some artwork. Here’s a
brilliant maple with firey shades of yellow and

Dreary Day at Hinkley Park
It’s yet another dreary day here in Maine... I
decided to take our two
dogs up to Hinkley Park for a walk. I snapped a pic
at one of the ponds
and decided to paint it. I think it captures the gray
gloominess of the day..
Hopefully it breaks and we’ll have some sunshine

and I went down to Willard Beach this morning to go
for a walk with our two dogs
Marty and Wilson. I took the camera and I got some
awesome pictures of the
fishing shacks and of Spring Point Light, and I did
intend on doing a painting of Spring
Point, but when I loaded the pics onto the computer I
found this nice picture of
Richmond Island.... So a view from Kettle Cove it is.

The Fishing Shacks
This painting has been sitting in my studio
