This is a view from Kettle Cove looking out at
Richmond Island. My Daughter Avery
and I went down to Willard Beach this morning to go
for a walk with our two dogs
Marty and Wilson. I took the camera and I got some
awesome pictures of the
fishing shacks and of Spring Point Light, and I did
intend on doing a painting of Spring
Point, but when I loaded the pics onto the computer I
found this nice picture of
Richmond Island.... So a view from Kettle Cove it is.

The Fishing Shacks
This painting has been sitting in my studio
unfinished for
practically a year! So I finally decided to finish it
and get it out of my hair.
The fishing shacks of Willard beach are one of
Maine’s true icons. Willard beach is
great place to visit, it’s super scenic, and the
shacks always make for a fun painting.
